New Patient FAQs

Following are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) that we often receive from new patients. If you have a question that is not listed here, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

  1. Do you do cosmetic dentistry?
    Yes! The dentists in our practice pay special attention to the detail and the aesthetics of your smile. We offer tooth-colored composite fillings, porcelain veneers and metal-free crowns. We also work with great specialists, when necessary, to give you the smile you have always desired.
  2. Do you offer teeth bleaching (whitening)?
    Of course! We fabricate take-home trays customized to fit your mouth comfortably for easy, convenient use. We also offer inexpensive disposable trays, and 1-hr in-office whitening.
  3. I have heard of laser dentistry do you have a laser?
    Yes! We use our laser for a number of procedures, from fillings to gum surgery. It is completely safe, more comfortable, quieter and minimizes the use of the “drill.”
  4. Do you accept payment plans?
    As a financing option, we offer Care Credit. It is a program that allows you to have your treatment completed today, while paying monthly installments. In addition, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, checks, and cash. For more information about Care Credit, visit
  5. Do you take my insurance?

    We are currently a contracted provider with Delta Dental and United Concordia; however, many of our patients use different insurance. If we are not on your provider’s list, we are still more than happy to submit your insurance claims for you. In our practice we feel it’s important to be up front and honest about how your dental insurance works for you.

  6. Can you help an apprehensive dental patient?
    Absolutely. We can use Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for people who are extra nervous about a procedure or even for their regular check-ups.
  7. Do you see children?

    Yes! We are a family practice and we see patients of all ages. Our Staff is exceptional at making children’s visits to our office a fun and comfortable experience!

  8. How do you replace missing teeth?
    There are a number of ways to replace teeth that are missing. We can do implant crowns, removable partial dentures, full dentures, fixed bridges and implant-supported partial dentures and dentures.
  9. Does your practice do crowns?
    Yes. We do a number of different kinds of crowns, from all gold to all porcelain. Our crowns are all processed at local labs from domestic materials.
  10. I need a root canal, do I have to go to a specialist?
    Not all the time. We perform root canals in our office routinely! We will only refer you to an endodontist under special circumstances.
