Dear Loyal Patients,

Although these are unprecedented times, I would like to say THANK YOU for allowing us the privilege to serve and care for you. Our goal, at Haid Dental, is to provide the best dental care in a kind, gentle, and safe manner. As many of you are aware, we had to temporarily close due to the recent COVID-19 Pandemic. We are reopening May 4th and are excited to provide dental care again! In light of the current situation, I wanted to make you aware of some of our changes that we have added to increase the safety of our environment for both you and our staff.

5 stars!

"Haid Dental was an incredibly nice place to be! The office was beautifully decorated and very clean with all the new technology. I was very impressed by everything including how sweet and welcoming everyone was there. Dr. Emrich was great! The staff took all the proper COVID precautions. Looking forward to being back for my next cleaning!"

In accordance with recommendations to keep our employees safe, we are implementing a travel policy. We are asking patients who have flown on an airplane to wait two weeks before coming into our office. Since one of the first symptoms of COVID-19 is a fever, we will be taking the temperatures of staff and patients daily. We will also try to avoid patients congregating in the reception room. To do this, we are going to stagger appointments to try to create some separation of contact. Also, we ask that you NOT bring anyone with you, unless you are a minor or need assistance. Finally, we would like for you to confirm your cell phone number with us as soon as possible by email, text or phone call. Therefore, on the day of your scheduled appointment, we can allow you to stay in your car and we will call you on the number you provide us to tell you when you can enter. If we do not have your cell phone number, we will still have a scheduled appointment time for you.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on these new procedures. This process is new to us as well, and we will all do our best to follow the guidelines set forth by the ADA, ODA, CDC, OSHA and the Governor of Ohio.

In addition, you will also see us wearing masks, face shields and other PPE throughout the day, not just in the treatment rooms. The governor also recommends that YOU wear a face covering as well when you go out, so please consider wearing these until you are in the treatment room.

We are also trying to go the extra mile in safety and cleanliness. We are still doing are usual protocols of “Universal Precautions,” where we sterilize items and chemically treat surfaces as if anyone could be carrying a variety of diseases. In addition to these precautions, we are adding in-room air purifiers that are designed to kill and trap viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc. They will have HEPA filters and UVC technology, along with charcoal filters. These will purify and filter the air constantly throughout the day. Although these are not required, we are taking extra measures to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.

With our sincerest gratitude, on behalf of Dr. Haid, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Emrich and all of the staff at Haid Dental, I would like to thank you all again for your support and trust in us as we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Fondly,

Dr. Tara Haid

Dr. Michael Emrich

Dr. Lisa Johnson
